The Importance of the "Obi"

When collecting Japanese CD-ROM games, the "Obi" (spine card) is a crucial component. This small slip of paper wrapped around the left side of the jewel case was usually discarded by buyers when opening the game. Finding a copy of Rondo of Blood with its original obi intact nearly doubles the value of the game for serious collectors.
